Tuesday’s Club Assembly, Your Chance to Shape the Rotary Year…

Effective Rotary Clubs focus on Rotary International’s Four Avenues of Service:  Sustain and Grow Membership; Implement Successful Service Projects; Support the Rotary Foundation and Develop Club Leaders.  At our next meeting, you will be asked to join one of  five Committee tables (Membership, Fund Raising, Youth, Service Projects, Club Administration) to develop action plans for this year.

The Rotary Club of Sedona…

We are 42 members strong; but we have plenty of room to grow.  Bring a friend to Rotary this summer.  We inducted six new members last year; let’s top that success this year.

Club attendance was 76% for the last six months.  Remember that Rotarians need to attend at least 30% of their home club’s meetings each half of the Rotary year.

PolioPlus, a Global Polio Eradication Initiative inspired by Rotary International…

Since 1985 Rotary has led the way to eradiate polio world-wide.  Millions of people have been vaccinated, but the job is not complete.  Thanks to a $100 million challenge grant to RI by the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, the remaining polio-affected countries can soon be polio free.  RI has accepted the challenge and asks all Clubs to raise at least $1,000 per year for three years to match the $100 million grant.
