Good meal, Great conversations, Rotarians recognized, New officers installed…

   The Rotary Club of Sedona celebrated the “change of the guard” on July 1 at the Barking Frog in Sedona.  Outgoing President Bill Minard passed the gavel to Linda Wallace, our 2008-09 President.  Linda thanked Bill and the outgoing Board of Directors for a job well done.

   Receiving special recognition as Outstanding Rotarians were Hank Lucas, Judd White and Merv Shapan.   Jennifer Judd and Judy Shapan were honored as new Paul Harris Fellows.  The annual Bihler Silent Rotarian Award was bestowed on Rod Abbott.   Congratulations all!

Community Service-Road Clean-Up Crew…

   Ray Jegge (ray(at)jegge.com) has scheduled a road clean-up for July 12th, 8 AM.  Meet at the former Sedona Cultural Park.  Ray reports that we have new safety vests, “trash pickers” and a can do attitude.  Please email Ray to sign up for this ongoing Rotary community service.  Breakfast at Kaisers will follow for those who wish to attend.
