Rotary District Governor Meets Sedona Rotarians...

This coming Wednesday, we will welcome our District Governor Charlie Tegarden and his wife Anne to Sedona.  We look forward to his presentation to our club members.

After serving in the US Air Force, Charlie earned his engineering degree from Arizona State University. He owns his own supplemental education business for K-12 students.

Charlie joined the Kingman Rt 66 Rotary Club in December of 1996 and served as club president in 2001-02  In the last several years, Charlie has led or co-led numerous district and bi-district training events in Arizona related to all Rotary subjects.

Charlie has also served his local community in Kingman for over 20 years where he has volunteered for numerous committees, causes, and events; planning and leading several major events for the City of Kingman and Chamber of Commerce. He received Volunteer Of The Year recognition in 1991 from the Kingman Tourism Office and was selected as Citizen of the Year in 1998 by the Kingman Chamber of Commerce for his leadership while president of the Boys and Girls Club of Kingman.

Charlie has received Rotarian of the Year recognition from his club, The Four Avenues of Service Award, District Governor's Award (2005) and special recognition for Meritorious Service from the District Governor (2006). Charlie actively supports the Rotary Foundation and is a multiple Paul Harris Fellow, Paul Harris Society Member, and Bequest Society Member.

In their rare spare time, Charlie and Anne enjoy spending time with their 3 children and 2 grandchildren.
