Attendance ‘Rules of the Road’…

    Club attendance has averaged less than 70% for the past three months.

   Remember that you can request a make up for a missed meeting if you attend another Rotary Club or Rotary/RI meeting within 14 days of the missed meeting.  Please contact secretary@sedonarotary.org with the pertinent information. 

   Active Rotarians must attend or make up at least 60% of Club regular meetings in each half of the year and they must attend at least 30% of this Club’s regular meetings in each half of the year.

Rotary Student of the Month…

   Each month an outstanding student from Sedona’s Red Rock High School is selected to receive Rotary’s Student of the Month recognition.  The students and parents are invited to attend a Club meeting so that we can learn more about their accomplishments and we can share RI’s guiding principles with themEach student receives a $500 scholarship at the end of the school year.

   Our Student of the Month for September is Samantha JudaMeet her Tuesday!

 Mark Your Calendars

   October 7, 2008, 11am:  Special meeting of the Administrative and Membership Committees to develop membership recruitment and retention plans.

   October 14, 2008, Noon:  Club Assembly, all Committees will be asked to report their progress.

   December 9, 2008:  Red Rock Festival of Lights at Los Abrigados, an evening of fun, fellowship and fund raising.

   January 25, 2009:  Preliminary date for the New Years All Year Around Korean New Year celebration at the Mago Café in Sedona.
