Thanks from a Scholarship Recipient…

Thank you so much for your contribution to my education.  I have great plans for my future and your help was and is greatly appreciated.  I am moving to NAU to pursue my career in mechanical engineering, and I don’t plan on letting you or my family down.  Thank you again!

Sincerely,  George Saucedo

Rotary Youth Exchange Outbound Student Update…

Samantha Hauserman, a junior at Red Rock High School, is sponsored by both Sedona Rotary Clubs as this year’s outbound Youth Exchange student.  She is studying in Warsaw, Poland and according to recent emails she “…not only has new Polish friends from school, but also has met other international friends during a gathering of Rotary exchange students sponsored by the Torun Rotary Club”.  View pictures of the event at http://www.rotary.org.pl/rotary.php?x=yep_10.

Applications for next year’s outbound student are now available.  To apply, a high school age student must be above average academically and be socially able to live abroad for an extended time.  Contact Catherine Moore for information.
