Forget the Stock Market, Attend the Happy Hour Tuesday…

Bring your spouse or guest and join your fellow Club members on Tuesday, October 21 at REDS at Sedona Rouge at 5:30 pm.  The informal event is a perfect occasion to introduce prospective members to THE Rotary Club of Sedona.

Don’t miss the VHP program Tuesday…

Created by an act of Congress and signed into law on October 27, 2000, the Veterans History Project (VHP) collects and preserves the remembrances of American war veterans and civilian workers who supported them.  VHP relies on volunteers throughout the nation to collect veterans' stories on behalf of the Library of Congress (LOC). The Sedona Public Library became an active partner in the project in 2003, and conducts and records interviews with area veterans, archives  interviews and related materials, and forwards copies to the LOC.  All of these stories are available to researches, educators and other interested parties via the VHP database.  The Sedona Public Library also houses project data and materials relative to the Sedona area participants.
Jolene Pierson heads up the VHP volunteers and will present the program along with a member of her team, Ed Jones.  Rotarians David Keeber and Merv Shapan have been involved in the project from the beginning and will assist the presenters
