Lina’s Report…

The Rotary Club of Sedona proudly sponsors an ongoing student exchange program.  At Tuesday’s Rotary meeting Senior Exchange Student Lina Lrachenmann from Romanshorn, Switzerland shared highlights of her ten month experience at Sedona’s Red Rock High School.  She will return to Switzerland in August after a nationwide train trip with fellow Rotary exchange students from the Southwest.  Lina is raising trip funds through a raffle of an authentic Swiss dinner.

Other highlights of Tuesday’s noon meeting included recognizing Rotary guests from Vermont and Arkansas and presentation of a check for $600 to support the Veterans History Project co-sponsored by the Sedona Public Library.

Sign up for the Ho, Ho, Ho Holiday Party…

A terrific Holiday Party is planned for December 16, 2008, 6-9 pm at Relics.  Judd White will circulate a sign up sheet at Tuesday’s Rotary meeting.  Join in the fun; the cost is $35 per person.  Also plan to support the Sedona Food Bank and bring a donation of foodstuffs or cash to our Holiday celebration.
