Rod Abbott accepts Silent Rotarian Award
Rod Abbott
was awarded the Silent Rotarian Award in December. The Award is recognition of an outstanding Rotarian who works quietly, behind the scenes, to achieve the goals of our Club and Rotary International. Thanks to Rod, our guests are given a hearty welcome each week and we all can be assured of an excellent program.  Congratulations, Rod.

Celebrate the Korean New Year, Sign up this week…

Join your fellow Rotarians and celebrate “Seollal”, the Korean New Year, Sunday, January 25, 2009, 5 – 8:30 p.m.; Mago Café, Uptown Sedona.  This is the second event hosted by our Club in the “New Years All Year Around” series of authentic traditional ethnic new years celebrations available in the Sedona community.  Sign up at the meeting this week or at the Club’s web site, www.sedonarotary.org.

A note of thanks….

Please extend our sincere thanks to the members of the Sedona Rotary Club for their continued generous support of the Sedona branch of the Veterans History Project.  Merv Shapan presented us with your check for $200.00 at today's volunteer meeting.   Rotarian's support for this project means, quite simply and most importantly, that this project can continue to collect and preserve the oral histories of our veterans and to recognize and honor their service to our country.
