Did You Know? ….

·       Sedona’s RYLA delegates will join us at Tuesday’s meeting to report about their recent Camp experience.

·       For more than thirty years, the Rotary Home Exchange Fellowship has assisted Rotarians throughout the world in arranging an exchange of their own home with other Rotarians for brief periods solely for vacation purposes.  For more information, check the web site:  www.RotaryHomeExchange.com.

·       Beware of e-mail scams of Rotarians.  Rotary International does not solicit funds through e-mail, nor does it ask that personal information be updated by e-mail.  RI encourages Rotarians and Rotary Clubs to avoid becoming victims of such scams by deleting any e-mail that appears suspicious.

·       Each Club in District 5490 is encouraged to nominate eligible club and district members for the following positions:  District Governor, Nominating Committee members and Finance Committee members.  All nominations should be sent directly to District Governor Charlie Tegarden; the deadline for receipt of nominations is March 4, 2009.

·       Walgreens adopted the Rotary Four-Way Test in 1955.  Is it the truth? Is it fair to all concerned? Will it build goodwill and better friendships? Will it be beneficial to all concerned? These are the four questions that are the foundation of the Walgreen Way.

·       John Kenny, the President-Elect of Rotary International announced that the theme he has chosen for the 2009-2010 Rotary Year is “The Future of Rotary is in Your Hands.”

·       The Rotary Club of Sedona’s January attendance averaged 88%.
