Chili lovers from throughout Arizona are heading to the annual Great Sedona Chili Cook-Off at Tlaquepaque’s Arts & Crafts Village on May 5, 2012.  Sedona’s top chefs will compete for the prized “Best Chili” recognition.  Awards will be given by our three distinguished judges (Mayor Rob Adams, Police Chief Ray Cota and Verde Valley Fire Chief Nizah Hazime) as well as a “People’s Choice” trophy.  Festivities begin in the Calle de Independencia at 11 am. Awards will be announced at 3pm.

Admission is just $10; children are free.

Your participation in this fun event helps Rotary International achieve its goal of total eradication of polio worldwide. For as little as 60 cents worth of oral polio vaccine, a child can be protected for life!  Proceeds from the Great Sedona Chili Cook-Off will benefit the End Polio Now Project and other Rotary charities including Rotary’s new Imagination Library project.
