Children of all ages were excited to watch the helicopter ball drop that capped off a month of fundraising events held by our Village Satellite Club. Over $42,000 was raised in the club's first fundraising event. Read the press release.
 
The funds raised from the event will help in various areas including; teacher training, IB curriculum enhancements, and technology needs. The Rotary Club will also be able to make a generous donation to Verde Valley Imagination Library.

Sip & Savor
Held in The Collective’s Vista Hall, The event featured delicious
food items by J Wine Bistro, wines by Chateau St. Michelle, John & Nikki Ramagli,
and a festive setting.
 
Big Park School Students created art with help from Heather Herman for the Silent Auction.
 
Don Groves shared the story of Big Park school transition from nearly being closed to International Baccalaureate Candidate.
 
Teachers from Big Park were called on stage and received enthusiastic applause.
 
MC Jennette Bill next brought up auctioneer Kris Kazian for the live auction.
Attendees raised their bidding paddles to indicate their desire to donate $300 each toward Chromebooks for the classrooms.
