The 9th Annual Great Sedona Chili Cook-Off was enjoyed by over 750 visitors and the Verde Valley community. Here are Competition Winners for 2019. Judge's Award-Restaurants: 1. Tamaliza Café; 2. Vino Di Sedona; 3. Steakhouse 89. People's Choice Award - Restaurants: 1. Steakhouse 89; 2. Vino Di Sedona; 3. Tamaliza Café. Judge's Award - Community Competitors: 1. City of Sedona; 2. Sedona Fire District; 3. City of Cottonwood. People's Choice Award - Community Competitors: 1. City of Cottonwood; 2. Sedona Fire District; 3. City of Sedona. Best Decorated Booth: Tamaliza Café.

Meeting Highlights

Club honors student scholars and leaders

The club recognized West Sedona School and Sedona Red Rock High School students during its April 23 meeting. Students from L-R are: Kale Emerson, Jonathon Lamparter, Alexandra Edwards and Steel Sturgeon.  Alexandra and Jonathon received $1,000 Rotary Scholarships to the college of their choice. Kale and Steel were recognized as Rotary Student Ambassadors for their leadership skills. Congratulations students! We are so proud of you.
